I graduated with a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2008. My theoretical orientation is client centered, solution focused and attachment based. A foundational part of my work with clients has always included mindfulness practices. I was intrigued by the study of mindfulness and sport performance and began integrating MSPE most recently with great results. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and have a private practice in Federal Way, Washington.
Coaching is not therapy though. I understand that quite often people don’t want/desire/need therapy but DO want to reach their potential and goals. We all do better with support, right? It’s why coaching makes so much sense to me. I completed the Seattle Coach program in 2016 and regularly use many of the standards and practices. I find coaching to be a favorite part of my work.
Additionally, I am certified in Eagala Equine therapy as an MH (Mental health), have completed Fundamentals of Natural Lifemanship and regularly am studying horsemanship principles.
